Chris Brown premiered the highly unanticipated video for his first single, “I Can Transform Ya,” today.

There’s not much to the video. He just stands in front of a white background singing about how great he can make some lucky lady’s life (”I can change your life, make it so new/ Make you never want to go back to the old you”), and sometimes he’ll bust out a nunchuck trick. Antigua, Guatemala - 24 de octubre

Icaro Services, la agencia de contratación de Daddy Yankee, acaba de anunciar que el concierto pautado para esta noche en el Estadio Mundo E de Antigua, Guatemala ha sido suspendido por incumplimiento de contrato hacia los proveedores locales.

La empresa manejada por Guillermo Menéndez, INTERmusic Centroamérica, no cumplió con pagos hacia el proveedor Sistemas y Servicios Pleasures quien se encontraba con su equipo hace dos días organizando y montando las especificaciones técnicas de producción para el espectáculo.

Daddy Yankee, quien se encuentra desde anoche en el país esperando convivir con su fanaticada Guatemalteca manifestó: “Yo respeto mucho el trabajo de los obreros lo cuales trabajan por un pago el cual no hizo el empresario.  Respeto y soy solidario con ellos.  El obrero es digno de su salario”.

La empresa INTERmusic Centroamérica notificará a los fanáticos de Daddy Yankee el procedimiento para reembolso de su dinero por boletos comprados.  Tanto el artista como Icaro Services lamentan lo sucedido y esperan muy pronto regresar con su espectáculo a suelo Guatemalteco.

Antigua, Guatemala - October 24, 2009

Icaro Services, booking agency representing Daddy Yankee, announced that the show scheduled for tonight at Mundo E in Antigua, Guatemala had to be suspended due to a breach of contract by the local promoter towards the local production company of the show.  Local promoter INTERmusic Centroamerica, company managed by Guillermo Menendez, did not comply with payments owed to the local production company Sistemas y Servicios Pleasure who was hired by INTERmusic to coordinate all production aspects of the show and had been working for various days to set up the show.

Daddy Yankee, who arrived to Guatemala a day prior to the show and who was anxiously waiting to bring his show to fans there had this to say:  “I have a lot of respect for the workers hired to work on my show, and who work for compensation that was supposed to be given to them by the local promotor.  I respect and support their decision.  They’re entitled to compensation.”

Local promoter INTERmusic Centroamerica will notify Daddy Yankee fans on the process of reimbursement of their tickets locally.  Both Daddy Yankee and Icaro Services are disappointed with the events that occurred this past weekend and will work towards returning to Guatemala to bring Daddy Yankee’s show to fans in the near future.
