Coors Light is teaming up with Grammy-winner Daddy Yankee to promote the release of his new single, “Grito Mundial,” with a VIP En Exclusiva event in New York. The release of the new single, “Grito Mundial,” is a prelude to the launch of the new album, “Daddy Yankee Mundial,” slated to be on the market in early 2010.

Daddy Yankee is a Latin Billboard and Latin Grammy Award-winning international artist who combines Reggae, Latin Rap and Hip Hop. This is the second year in a row he is partnering with Coors Light to promote his new release.
The Coors Light En Exclusiva appearance will give hundreds of New York area legal-drinking-age fans the opportunity to attend an intimate meet and greet with Daddy Yankee.

Reggaetón star Daddy Yankee started the promotion of his new single “Grito Mundial” this week in Central Florida.
The song, a fusion of reggaetón and samba rythms, talks of tolerance and an end to racism. It was among the finalists to become the 2010 World Cup’s theme song.
Daddy Yankee, 32, started his career at age 13. Besides working on his music he produced and starred the movie Talento de Barrio (2008). During the presidential elections, he supported Republican Senator John McCain, but later denied having any political interests. He also launched a men’s cologne DY that fall and will be introducing a women’s fragrance in the spring 2010.

Tonight at a hip night spot in Orlando, Florida, several hundred lucky Latinos will get the opportunity to meet one of the biggest stars on the reggaetón music scene.
At the same time, Coors Light - a beer brand that’s been marketing to Hispanic consumers for years - hopes it can further solidify its image as a beverage of choice when having fun with friends in a bar or club.
“Coors Light En Exclusiva” will see El Cartel recording artist Daddy Yankee partake in meet-and-greet appearances at intimate venues in Dallas, New York, Philadelphia and Chicago between today and December 3. In Houston, he’ll participate in a VIP party hosted by Univision Radio’s local stations; local alcohol beverage control laws put a damper on staging the event in a bar or club.
The events allow El Cartel to offer attendees a first listen to Mr. Yankee’s upcoming album, “Daddy Yankee Mundial,” set for release in early 2010.

Daddy Yankee se une a Coors Light para promover el estreno de un nuevo éxito sencillo del artista, “Grito Mundial”, como introducción al lanzamiento de su nuevo álbum, “Daddy Yankee Mundial” en Estados Unidos.
El primer evento de lanzamiento debutará en Orlando el 18 de noviembre, donde cientos de adultos tendrán acceso a la íntima y exclusiva presentación por medio de una promoción de mensajes de texto y radio. Como parte de los eventos promocionales este miércoles DY estará en entrevista radial en vivo en la MEGA de Orlando a las 3:00 pm.
El viernes Daddy Yankee será uno de los invitados especiales en la Gala de Juan Pablo Montoya a celebrarse en Miami y participará en vivo de una entrevista en la emisora Zol 95.
Luego, el artista viajará a Houston, Dallas, Nueva York, Filadelfia y Chicago para conocer y saludar a los fans En Exclusiva.
Este viernes 20 a las 3:00 pm podrás escucharlo en vivo en la emisora Tu Música de Houston y luego será entrevistado en vivo en los estudios de La Kalle 107.9.
