with the support of his multi city promotional tour

MIAMI, FL, May 13th, 2010 - Daddy Yankee continues to reign over sales lists with Mundial. The urban artist’s most recent masterpiece continues at the top of Billboard’s Latin, Latin Urban and Rap albums charts. Yankee’s first full length studio release in two years is being very well received by digital music consumers across the board. Mundial finds itself at number 1 in downloads on Amazon.com’s Rap/Hip Hop, Latin Hip-Hop and Latin Music/ Urban categories.

Mundial’s promotional tour has taken the Puerto Rican native to cities across the United States where he had the opportunity to share one on one time with media and his diehard fans. Last week Daddy Yankee did in store autograph signings at FYE stores in New York, Boston and Philadelphia. These in stores had thousands of fans in attendance.

Washington D.C. was the record breaking in store for Daddy Yankee, having surpassed over 2,000 fans in attendance at a local Best Buy store. He made his way through the lower east coast making stops at Best Buy stores in Orlando and Miami this past weekend. Approximately 1,500 fans endured record breaking heat on Mother’s Day weekend to meet their idol.

“Mundial” consists of 13 socially themed tracks in which Yankee sings about romance, steamy nights out dancing and worldwide celebration. “Grito Mundial” and “Descontrol” were big hits that preceded the album’s highly anticipated release.
