Reggaeton star Daddy Yankee headlines Bayfest
CORPUS CHRISTI — Latin Grammy nominee Daddy Yankee headlines the 2010 Bayfest entertainment schedule Saturday when the reggaeton sensation makes his Corpus Christi debut at the American Bank Center.
Currently on tour in support of his ninth studio album, “Daddy Yankee Mundial” (Worldwide), the Puerto Rican singer is enjoying a banner year as a peer and fan favorite around the world. The release of “Mundial” in April has garnered Daddy Yankee a No. 1 album on the U.S. Billboard Top Latin Album Chart, two Top 20 singles on Billboard’s Latin Songs chart and three Latin Grammy nominations.
