DADDY YANKEE RECEIVES 7 NOMINATIONS FOR the 2011 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS

Miami, FL - February 10th, 2011- International superstar, Daddy Yankee has received seven nominations for the 2011 Billboard Latin Music Awards. Nominations include Hot Latin Songs Artist Of The Year, Tropical Airplay of The Year and Latin Rhythm Album of The Year. The nominations come as no surprise as the singer’s last production, Mundial has gained him multiple Latin Grammy, Premio Lo Nuestro, MTV Video Music Award and American Music Awards nominations. The Billboard Latin Music Award nominations were announced live this morning via the Telemundo network.
“Thanks to my fans for taking me to this level of receiving all of these nominations! The Billboard Awards are the ones with the most credibility, because they showthe music that the public really listens to.” commented Daddy Yankee from his home in Puerto Rico.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards honors the most popular albums, songs, and performers in Latin music, as determined by sales and radio airplay data that informs Billboard’s weekly charts during a one-year period from the issue dated February 6, 2010 through this year’s January 29, 2011 issue. The awards show will take place on April 28th and will be produced and broadcast live by The Telemundo network.
Yankee is currently in the studio wrapping up his next production Club Prestige, scheduled for release June 2011.

About Daddy Yankee:
