Tiene mucha energía. Lo que hicimos fue traer a Natalia a un modo más urbano. Creo que será nuestro próximo sencillo para el verano”, destacó Yankee, autodenominado el “jefe” del reguetón.

Premio lo Nuestro será transmitido por la cadena Univision.

Lovumba que lleva 16 semanas en las carteleras de Billboard, ocupa además el puesto #1 en el Latin Urban Chart  durante 10 semanas consecutivas y #1 chart pop y #2 en el chart tropical.

This Thursday, the Big Boss returns to the Premio Lo Nuestro stage as the evening’s opening performer with a spectacular production that no one has ever seen before on hispanic television. Premio Lo Nuestro will be aired on Univision.

Lovumba, which has spent 16 weeks on the Billboard charts has held the #1 spot on Latin Urban Chart for 10 consecutive weeks and #1 on the pop charts.

The single was written by Daddy Yankee and produced Grammy nominated team, Los De La Nazza (Musicologo y Menes). In just a few short weeks, the song’s music video has reached over 6 million views on YouTube.

Lovumba  #1 por nueve semanas consecutivas Urban Latin
#2 en Billboard Hot Latin Songs

Miami, FL (7 de febrero de 2012)- Con tan sólo un mes en este nuevo año, el 2012 se perfila como el año del Big Boss, Daddy Yankee. Con un sencillo en el tope de las carteleras y el anuncio de varias empresas de negocio, Yankee continúa mostrando al mundo su posición como uno de los grandes de la música latina.

La estrella celebró su cumpleaños a lo grande durante el fin de semana con los fans que se reunieron para mostrarle a la estrella su amor y lealtad felicitándolo vía Twitter y convirtiendo su cumpleaños en un tema de tendencia en las distintas regiones del mundo. A cambio, Yankee le dio a los fans una sorpresa especial con el lanzamiento del remix oficial de su éxito, Lovumba. El remix es una versión que mezcla el español y el ingles y fue producido por Motiff. Fue lanzado en el canal oficial de Daddy Yankee de VEVO.

El sábado en la noche, Yankee recibió una calurosa bienvenida en Venezuela mientras se presentó ante un lleno total en las ferias de la Candelaria en Turmero.
