The Singer Surpasses One Million Followers Just One Day After He Reaches 6 Million Fans on Facebook
Miami, FL, March 15, 2011- No more than 24 hours after Daddy Yankee’s fan page on the world’s biggest social platform, Facebook, reached over 6 MILLION fans, the singer’s Twitter page (@DYNATION) surpassed one million followers. This milestone was reached with the help of fan around the world who showed their support and loyalty to the artist by hitting the “follow” button. Because of that support and loyal following that has been shown by fans, Daddy Yankee will be conducting a live fan chat via Ustream at 6PM EST on Wednesday, March 16th.

Miami, FL - February 10th, 2011- International superstar, Daddy Yankee has received seven nominations for the 2011 Billboard Latin Music Awards. Nominations include Hot Latin Songs Artist Of The Year, Tropical Airplay of The Year and Latin Rhythm Album of The Year. The nominations come as no surprise as the singer’s last production, Mundial has gained him multiple Latin Grammy, Premio Lo Nuestro, MTV Video Music Award and American Music Awards nominations. The Billboard Latin Music Award nominations were announced live this morning via the Telemundo network.
“Thanks to my fans for taking me to this level of receiving all of these nominations! The Billboard Awards are the ones with the most credibility, because they showthe music that the public really listens to.” commented Daddy Yankee from his home in Puerto Rico.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards honors the most popular albums, songs, and performers in Latin music, as determined by sales and radio airplay data that informs Billboard’s weekly charts during a one-year period from the issue dated February 6, 2010 through this year’s January 29, 2011 issue. The awards show will take place on April 28th and will be produced and broadcast live by The Telemundo network.
Yankee is currently in the studio wrapping up his next production Club Prestige, scheduled for release June 2011.

Miami, FL -October 12, 2010- The Big Boss, Daddy Yankee has received a nomination for the 38th Annual American Music Awards, for “Favorite Latin Artist”. The nominations were announced from Los Angeles this morning. Winners will be determined by online voting at www.amavote.com .
Daddy Yankee just wrapped the very successful European leg of his “Mundial” world tour and is also up for 3 Latin Grammy Awards this coming November. “Mundial” was released on April 27th, 2010 through El Cartel Records and distributed by Sony Music. “MUNDIAL” brought Yankee back to his Latin roots and his influences from his travels touring the world.

La superestrella latina goza nominación en la categoría “Artista latino favorito”
Miami, FL -12 de octubre, 2010- El Big Boss Daddy Yankee fue nominado para la 38ta gala anual de los American Music Awards en la categoría “Artista Latino Favorito”. Lo entiendan o no en lo que dice en sus canciones, cierto es que Daddy Yankee ha podido testificar cómo personas de distintas nacionalidades se mueven a su ritmo. Así lo ha podido presenciar desde las tarimas europeas donde se presenta en estos días como parte de su gira Mundial.

El cantante nominado a los premios Grammy cantó con un lleno total en el Zenith de París así como también logra tener millones de fanáticos en su página de Facebook.
Miami, FL, octubre 5, 2010 – El recientemente nominado para 3 Grammys Latinos, Daddy Yankee, trajo su fuego caribeño a la maravillosa ciudad de París, Francia. Esta es una de las muchas ciudades europeas de su gira y fue muy especial para él. Yankee fue abrazado por un lleno de miles de aficionados en el mundialmente famoso Le Zenith de París.
Los fanáticos mostraron su energía en el lugar con luces, banderas y con gritos cautivantes que inspiraron a la superestrella urbana a brindarles un show inolvidable. El suceso en París de Daddy Yankee no es sorpresa. “Mundial” se coloca confortablemente entre los primeros en las gráficas de ventas de Francia (FNAC). Daddy tiene una gran cantidad de fanáticos que son parte de su club de fans del mundo.
Como cantante continúa con su gira mundial europea con la cual ya ha alcanzado otro objetivo.
