Miami, FL April 29, 2011- International superstar, Daddy Yankee continues to prove that he is still a movement and a leader in the Latin music industry and his genre with three wins last night at the 2011 Latin Billboard Music Awards. Yankee won in three of the strongest categories awarded; Latin Rhythm Airplay Artist of the Year-Solo, Latin Rhythm Albums Artist of the Year-Solo and Latin Rhythm Album of The Year for  his #1 album, Mundial, The album has had three #1 hits including Descontrol, Grito Mundial  and La Despedida.

Yankee took to Twitter to thank his fans in between talking to the media in the press room backstage: “My People, thank you, because without your support winning these awards would not have been possible! you are the best!”
Ven Conmigo featuring Prince Royce, The singer’s first single from his upcoming release Prestige, debuted in the top 15 of the Billboard Latin Rhythm Charts and came in at number 2 on iTunes sales charts in its’ first week.

Daddy Yankee is currently in the studio putting finishing touches for Prestige which is due out this coming summer.

The first single from his upcoming release PRESTIGE launches with highly celebrated reviews

Miami, FL, April 19, 2011-  Daddy Yankee’s new single Ven Conmigo launched with full force this past 12th of April and is in full gear ready for it’s official release today on iTunes.  The Grammy award winner brought on a fresh new sound, look and an explosive collaboration with bachata pop sensation Prince Royce. News of the launch  made major national outlets including PerezHilton.com, Univision and Telemundo online and programming, CNN En Español, AOL, Yahoo, Terra and People En Español to name a few.

Ven Conmigo had over 9,000 shares on Twitter & Facebook via PerezHilton.com in one day and the celebrity blogger was fast to tweet Yankee saying “Esta candela la cancion!!”(The song is hot!).Latina Magazine also published rave review of the single- “Daddy Yankee is back and reminding us why we love him!”.  Univision.com is another media outlet to give Ven Conmigo high praise - “Prepare yourselves to shine the dance floor up becuase Daddy Yankee and Prince Royce are provocing you to dance all summer long with Ven Conmigo!”.  Yankee also received an overwhelmingly warm response from fans via all of his social media outlets including Twitter, Facebook and his website daddyyankee.com.

The video for the single was shot last Monday on location in Miami under the direction of Elastic People. The singer gave fans an exclusive inside look with an ongoing live feed through Ustream. (San Juan, PR, 12 de abril de 2011) - El jefe de la música urbana, Daddy Yankee, vuelve a sorprender con el primer sencillo “Ven Conmigo” a dúo con Prince Royce.

El artista, que figura como uno de los exponentes más exitosos del género urbano propone un nuevo sonido y un ritmo tan contagioso como lo será su nuevo álbum Daddy Yankee Prestige, seleccionó “Ven Conmigo”  seguro de que es una muestra perfecta de lo a descrito como “música candente”.
El sencillo propone un sonido club, con el sabor latino que identifica al artista quien invitó o a Prince Royce a colaborar en este tema convencido que la nueva voz de la bachata sería la voz perfecta para acompañarlo en esta canción producida por el propio artista y Los De la Nazza para el Cartel Record.

The Big Boss  changes gears with a hot sound and collaboration that is sure to get fans on the dance floor

Miami, FL, April 12, 2011-  Daddy Yankee is back with a new sound, look and an explosive collaboration to set the tone for his upcoming new single, Ven Conmigo featuring Prince Royce.  The track has a fun hot summer club sound with a Latin flavor that identifies the artist.  The collaboration of these two Latin music greats surged from Daddy Yankee’s producers Los De La Nazza, who introduced him to Prince Royce. Their chemistry was instant and Yankee invited him to come on board to record the track.  Ven Conmigo was recorded in Puerto Rico at El Cartel Records studios.
